KOLLEKTÖRLER :
Gaz kollektörleri , gaz besleme sisteminin kalbidir. Gaz tüpleri kollektörlerden terk eder ve yüksek basınç, işletme basıncına indirilir. Tüpler, kollektöre yüksek basınç spiral boruları ile irtibatlandırılır. Kollektörde bulunan valfler vasıtası ile sağ veya sol tüp grubunun seçimine izin verirler. Regülatörün fonksiyonu ise oksijen ve diğer hava gazları için oda ısısında 230 bar olan tüp basıncını , işletme basıncına düşürmektedir. Hava gazları için işletme basıncı normal olarak 8 – 12 bar iken asetilen için 1.5 – 0.8 bardır. Gaz kollektörleri , genellikle büyük gaz tüketimi olan teçhizatın hemen yanına yerleştirilmelidir. Tüp değiştirme arasının uzunluğu ve ortalama gaz tüketimi belirlenip, gereken gaz miktarı hesaplanıp, kollektör boyutu belirlenir.

ÇİFT KOLLEKTÖRLÜ GAZ BESLEME SİSTEMLERİ :

Gaz kullanımının fazla olduğu tesislerde “ çift kollektörlü” gaz besleme sistemleri tavsiye edilir. Bu sistem sayesinde gaz beslemesini arızasız ve kesintisiz yapmak mümkündür . Kollektörlere  bağlanan tüp grupları münavemeli olarak kullanılarak arızasız ve kesintisiz gaz beslemesi sağlanır. Yüksek gaz talebi ile karşılandığı halde iki grupta aynı anda devreye alınarak talep karşılanabilir. Çift kollektörlü gaz sistemlerini normal ve yarı otomatik olarak tesis etmek mümkündür
